Me too. It looks like an Ishapore 2A, in 7.62 Nato, that is missing the magazine. If it is in otherwise good condition, that isn't a bad deal.

Some of em were re-chambered and bored out for .410 if you want one be sure and make sure it'll chamber a standard .410 as some were chambered for the british .410 which is different.

Interesting. So they were turned into single shot .410s?

Actually, the cheap Yugo SKSs have dried up and that seems to be the going price.

yup. I remember seeing them in AIM or Century fliers a few years back. Don't really know the back story as to why they were done.

He surely has some nice stuff. The pawn shops in Houma all have over priced junk on the wall. Some days I wish I lived closer to NO or BR just so I could go hit the pawn shops on my days off.

There were enfields that were turned into .410's. From what I understand they were used to fire ropes between ships/boats with a muzzle attachment. Also if I remember correctly they won't take a standard .410 shell. I passed on them a long time ago when they were in quite a few C&R dealers. Just don't want a gun in my collection I have no use for.

I was more laughing at the '?' after it, rather than what caliber it is, since I am not an Enfield expert.
At least they are admitting they dont know what it is, and not trying to blow smoke up someones arse.

If it was closer, I would give the 100 for the enfield just for a wall hanger.

Someone on here reported that they will not sell to anyone under 21 so take that into consideration if you do want to purchase it.
