    image.jpgI'm using the RCBS Hand primer that came with my RC kit. I have the small rod inserted and when I go to put a primer in the case it dents them. I've only attempted two. As soon as it started taking pressure to prime, I stopped and looked at the case. The primer is very obviously dented. I set that one aside and tried again. It also dented.

    I've looked online and found another link with someone having the same problem with this tool, but thought I'd ask here as well. It's a pretty simple system so I'm not sure what else I can do differently.

    The rod is rounded on one end & flat on the other. The flat end should be pushing the primer in. Hope that helps

    DOH....I have found that if your loading on a progressive press and you get a flake of powder in there it will indent the primer as well LOL...
    I did same thing as you Sugarbug
