    [ame=www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPMEVzv0AO4]Teddy Medina Video[/ame]

    If you are not familiar with the Teddy Medina story, the Sparrows were a Filipino gang known for carrying out assassinations/hits for pay throughout the islands. Medina was picked up by Navy Investigative Services [the org that became NCIS]. While in custody, he bragged about the multiple assassinations that he had taken part in [upwards of 50] and of his ability with the handgun. Of course, everyone blew him off initially, but eventually he was put to the test and this video was the result.

    Four years ago, this thing didn't exist on the net and now you can pull up multiple copies on youtube and the Detonics site even has it hosted!!

    Anyway, what is not mentioned in the voiceover was that they hitmen worked in pairs. The triggerman had only one round in his gun & the number 2 had one round. If the triggerman failed to successfully carry out the hit, the #2 was to shoot him....needless to say, there was a bit of pressure to perform on the shooter. Medina was killed by fellow gang members after being released from custody because it was assumed that he talked.

    How do you stop that **** from dropping down to your ankle if you're walking around? Why one round? What if it fails ie bounce off skull?[/url]

    Crap why not be have a full mag?:p
    Because the a full mag would add a lot of weight to the handgun and would make it harder to keep stable when placed in front of his crotch with no holster.

    Take a large frame pistol(G21, G20, 1911 4"-6" barrel), put a round in the pipe, and load a full mag. Notice the weight that the handle and the slide has.

    Now take the mag out; the weight in the handle is gone, and reducing the overall weight.

    btw That's fast.
    Something to note: He practiced 10min. everyday.

    :)

    dunno if this is what he did, but there's a way to fold/tie a string to keep a 1911 from falling down your pants. Also, the way some men are built/dress/carry themselves, the gun just stays where it's intended, IWB. He and the followup guy are given ONE round because ammo 's very hard to get in Phills, and because they didn't want the guy firing rds all over town, being able to resist them if they decide to kill him, etc. He has to deliver, no option. They don't want failed attempts alerting the target (to flee/hide, run to cops). they don't want the guy shooting it out with the cops, cause that makes lots of trouble for them, too.

    against armed targets, he'd find out about that one handed stuff. :-) The range better be spitting distance, and you'd better be using earplugs, so that you don't flinch.
