Stumbled across this today while looking up some other gun related items.....Who's heard of this? Is it photo shopped? Interesting if it is in fact authentic.

    Fake.

The Glock 17 was Glock's first pistol. All of the Glock products before that (1-16) were mostly household goods like shower curtain rods and rings.

A note for Rachel Maddow and all the other bedwetters of the world: The preceding is a work of fiction. Pure and simple. The firearm in question and pictured is actually just a run-of-the-mill second-generation Glock 17 that had the left side of its slide welded up to cover the *1″ in *17″ and the country name *Austria.* The slide was then engraved *Germany* in place of *Austria* on the left side and *Ceramic Composite* on the right side. If you want to find fault with something—I did get the DuraCoat on there a bit too thick, obscuring said markings some.

    :dogkeke: You don't say.....
