Walmart has green ammo cans of 450 rounds of Federal 5.56 55gr FMJ for 164.00 each. Good buy. On stripper clips. Military spec stuff.

Also quite a few boxes of Independence 5.56 for 7.35 a box.

    No 22LR.

Also plenty of 308 and various shotgun loads.

Maybe, I just know that the green cans I've bought have been 420. Mine were 855 though, so the 193 may be different. Either way, 40 cents a round with a free ammo can isn't a bad deal at all.

I've gotten them in the past at academy and cabelas. Waiting to see the 1k round xm193bk to come back in stock. 1000 rounds of loose xm193 in a 50 cal ammo can

Yeah.. I had to look twice.. But definitely labeled "55gr FMJ"

If there is some left, I may buy a box.

Right now I'm stocking up with the Independence brand. After tax, it comes out at 40cpr.

Yea that Bulk .223 isn't bad,
but that Bulk 9mm ammo can is RAPE @ 0.41¢ a rnd BEFORE taxes.
Bulk Packs should be cheaper than that, per 1200!
    That's why you buy Bulk!

Every Wal-Mart I go to says it's been sitting on the shelf for months.
    Non one's touching 9mm Target @ $20.00 a box of 50.

Here's what I picked up at the Slidell store for 164.00. After tax the price was 178.35. Not bad seeing as the can is worth about 12-15 bucks. If you take out the cost for the box, that puts the rounds at about 39 or 40 cpr.

The brass is LCC. Very nice. Packed nicely inside. I can probably fit more boxes in there. Also includes the adapter to connect stripper clip to the mag.

Also about 20 boxes of the Independence 5.56 left @ 7.35 per 20 rd box.

    Happy shopping everyone.
