why a fishing license/? whats the purpose of that?
Persons using WMAs or other LDWF administered lands for any purpose other than hunting must possess one of the following:
1. a valid Wild Louisiana Stamp
2. a valid Louisiana fishing license
3. a valid Louisiana hunting license
Persons younger than 16 or older than 60 years of age are exempt from this requirement. Also a self-clearing WMA permit, detailed above, may be required, (available at most entrances to each WMA). Check individual WMA listings starting on page 30 for EXCEPTIONS.

I got a hook and line (cane pole) fishing license that is good for a year (expires same time all fishing license do, June 30 or something I think). It cost me $2.50 and works for Sherburn3=e
