Anyone heard about this one yet? A co-worker was asking me about this one and I haven't seen it before he brought it to my attention.

House Bill 1189, sponsored by state Rep Barbara Norton (D-Sherveport), would make it a crime to intententionally, or with criminal negligence, expose children, age ten and under, to firearms that are not locked in a container or equipped with a locking device.

Yes that bill failed in committee and was "involuntarily deferred", so it should be dead for this session. Of coarse, there is always next session.

And yes, to our friends in Shreveport: please help at election time; Barbara Norton will NOT stop trying to infringe, gleefully I might add, on our gun rights.
