Does the groove size make a difference in scope alignment or parallax, if I use 3/8 in.(10mm) rings in an 11mm dovetail groove? I just bought a CZ 512 with 11mm dovetail groove and I need to know before I buy the wrong rings. I mounted a scope i had on another .22 but those rings are for the 3/8 in. grooved receiver and don't want to waste ammo on siting in something that won't work but at one distance or that i have to shift to parallax correct for varying distances. Thanks RZ

Parallax should be a totally different issue from the ring size.

You are looking at maybe .030" scope being off centerline at the most. If it clamps it will probably work. Being off the centerline is not as good as being perfectly centered up. Question is how do you know the scope, rings, dovetail and bore are in perfect alignment from the manufacturer. There is variance however slight or excessive. Canting the rifle when shooting also can add small errors.

The only way to know for sure is to try it.
