I have been an avid shooter for some time now, but I have a question. Has anyone else noticed the amount of "1st time shooters" at your local range?
I have been spending a lot of time at the range in St. Bernard lately and seen an incredible amount of people go through there that proclaimed to be 1st timers.
They mostly appeared to be 20 something year old college students from Tulane and Xavier. Most were out of state students from gun-unfriendly states.
I even helped a few of them and they all seemed to have a really good time. Maybe there is hope for the future. LOL.
I also have seen an incredible amount of ladies looking to further their firearms skills. Please tell me that this is happening at the other local ranges.
I really should have gotten a group shot with some of the "mature" ladies that I helped on the line...their husbands subscribed to the get them a lightweight .38spl snubby to put in the purse club.
They hated shooting them, but loved shooting the Glock & S&W 9's that I had out with me.
Anyways, here are a few pictures from the range (St. Bernard Indoor).
