I picked up a dpms a15 a while back when they were having a promotion. It came out to be 450 TTL. So I am looking for a cheap but good red-dot to mount to the rail. It was only a 450 dollar ar so I don't want to pick up like a china knock off. Something just to play around with. This is not my training gun. Its just something to get better practice at 50 yards or so.

The dpms came with no sights to begin with. Once again Its cheap but I was impressed with the build

Any ideas.

I had one of these on an AR for quite a few hundred rounds (while deciding on a magnified optic).
It held ZERO AFTER I blue locktited the hardware.
It was moved to a .22 rifle and still works well.
For the price its hard to beat.

I have a TRS 25 that I keep on my 22/45. Love it. Getting one for the AK. $110ish I think, at Walmart including a riser for use on the AR.

Yes, if you have a non folding front sight. If you're going for budget risers on amazon the utg medium rise base will get you a co-witness and a high rise base will get you a 1/3 co-witness.
