Has anyone submitted forms to travel across state lines recently? If so, what has been the wait time? I just got my sbr approved and wanted to bring it to a bachelor party in South Carolina. All the states in between are sbr friendly.

Wait times seem to be all over the board. Call the ATF. My understanding is that they will sometimes push it through if you've got a travel date fast approaching. I'd try to get the form to them at least a couple weeks ahead of time though.

I always submit for the full year.......You have to file a different form for EACH DESTINATION'S LOCATION, but you can file as many locations as you require, each for a full year.

Atf form 5320.20 is only applicable to SBRs and machine guns, correct? In other words do suppressors on a form 4 need not apply?

Srry my internet connection on my phone was slow didnt get a chance to download the pdf of the form.

Also, is there any required forms for traveling across state lines with a can?

No forms for cans. You can bring them if the state you are going to allows them. Just have a copy of your form 4. MGs, SBRs, AOW, SBS, DDs all need a travel form. Stupid, I know, but that's how the ATF rolls.

I don't have time to research this right now, so I'll just ask- is there any fee for this form? Seems like a good thing to add to your annual hurricane prep, if not.
