Precision Marksmanship Course/Designated Defensive Marksman

Fundamentals of Marksmanship
Range Rifle Zero
Ballistics (Internal and External)
Effects of Weather
Team Organization and Mission
Range 100-500 (Technically a few yards shy of 500)
**Topics to be covered during additional training, Camouflage, Mil-Dot Exercises, Barrier Shooting, Command Fire, Distance shooting out to approximately 500 yards, Field Sketching, Observation, Rapid bolt manipulation, Multiple targets, KIMS Games. ETC.
Logistics
Student requirements: Bolt or Semi Auto Rifle capable 1 inch groups at 100 yards. 250 rounds of Match Grade ammunition, a weapon sling (not mandatory, but encouraged), bipod or bag for use as support, rear support bag, eye and ear protection, weapon specific holster and magazine pouches, fluids for hydration
Student recommendations: Baseball cap, sunscreen, insect repellant, knee and elbow pads, and shooting pad
