Disposal of old ammo?

Where to dispose of old ammo in the Baton Rouge area?

It's approx. 200 rounds of mixed .22, 30.06, 7 mag., .38 special, 20 ga. & 12 ga.

How old are we talking? Unless it went underwater or is heavily corroded, you could dump it on me.

I've never heard of "old ammo". Even if it's corroded too bad you can just pull the bullets and use the powder for fertilizer.

That's not old. That's barely past "fresh". WWII surplus would be getting up there in age, but I'd still fire that stuff.

As long as it was stored properly you should be good to go. I did buy some 30-40 year old .38spc off a guy on here and there is about a 3-5 second delay from when the hammer strikes to when the gun fires. As much as I hate hang fires I believe that is the worst that will happen when shooting old ammo that has gone "bad"
