    Where do y'all get tamales made in the BR area? Last year a friend of mine had a batch made at a place in Houma. They were excellent, but I don't feel like driving that far. There's got to be a good place around here...

    And how about sausage? I'm getting ready to drop 20lbs of deer meat off at Bergeron's Monday for smoked sausage. Who else is good?

    Sorry don't know anybody in BR. The only time I've had venison tamales around here that were prepared the same way that I used to get tamales from some Mexican families was from a place a Houma. Probably the same place you had yours done. If you find something let us know.
