Matches this weekend?

Hi Folks, I'm in the area for vacation and was wondering if there are any other matches going on this weekend other than the Gator Nationals? Any club matches of fun steel type activities within a couple hours drive of New Orleans? Thanks, for any info. Steve

Come to the Gator and watch while. There will be plenty of vendors set up.

I plan on doing that. Would Sat. or Sunday be the best day? Still hoping to shoot a bit if possible somewhere.

I would say Saturday would be better. Sunday is a shorter day and things are winding down.

I'm planning to make the drive from Baton Rouge to watch. What time do they start shooting and is there an entry fee for spectators?

No entry fee. Bring eye and ear protection. Saturday would be better. Shooting starts about 8 and ends about 4. Sunday starts about 8 and ends about 2.

The Louisiana Airgun state championship (silhouette & field target) is this weekend at the Jean Lafitte Airgun range at the state fairgrounds. It is a smallish match for a state championship but will be lots of fun.
