We have had an awesome fall so far and would like to keep the momentum going! Here is what we have in the hopper for November:

Carbine I and II: November 8th and 9th:

Carbine I covers the basic function and manipulation of the tactical carbine. Students will zero their rifles and learn how to effectively set up and operate a carbine as a defensive/combat weapon.

Carbine II builds on the basic concepts learned in Carbine I utilizing advanced tactics and scenario-based carbine deployment, with a focal point of short to midrange engagements most likely to be encountered by law enforcement and armed civilians.

    Gunfighter I: November 22nd:

Gunfighter I is our intro level defensive pistol class focusing primarily on handgun fundamentals and manipulations, the survival mindset, and basic gun fight tactics. Whether you are a new gun owner, concealed permit holder, casual shooter, or even a well-tuned enthusiast, you are guaranteed to walk away with new skills and significantly improved ability to defend yourself.

As always there is a discount for training on consecutive days and also a discount for repeating a class. Come have fun, learn, and develop as a combatant.

Tried to get my sister to do Gunfighter I, but she says she can't. I mean who has their daughter's birthday party on the same day as Gunfighter I? I gave her a good scolding.

Heading to Gunfighter 1 tomorrow, but Where is the range? Panicking. I thought it was in Robert, but I just noticed a map that said it is in New Iberia.

I just wanted to thank everyone that attended GF 1 Saturday. It was truly a pleasure. Makes it so much easier for instructors when everyone makes safe weapons handling the priority. It allows us to concentrate more on the training at hand. If any of you had any questions or comments that came to mind since reflecting on the day please let us know.

    Thanks again,

Monk, Vanilla-Gorilla, Chris, and the rest of their crew are natural teachers. It was a great class, and I'm already looking forward to my next one.

This was my first class of any sort. Very impressed by the mix of professionalism and approachability. I will be back for GFII and a carbine class in the spring.
