Free Airbag Light Reset for anyone with a 1994 to 2003 BMW, if you are willing to travel to Alexandria area. (How’s THAT for an arcane subject, completely different from what you normally find on gun boards)

Have you ever bought a specific tool that can only be used for one purpose, and nothing else? That’s what I’ve got in this BMW B800 Airbag Light Reset Tool. I had found out that if any one of the airbags on my wife’s BMW was disconnected and then the ignition turned on, the Airbag light illuminates and stays on forever, until it is reset with a special tool. I already had the Peake BMW code reader and reset tool, but it won’t reset the airbag light. Also, a new Peake specific tool to reset the airbag light costs $120.

I had to disconnect the door airbags to replace a door window regulator, first on one door, then a year later on another, and had to turn the ignition on to move the regulator in to place so it could be bolted down. This sets the light, and it takes a trip to the dealer and anywhere from $50 - $60 each time to reset it. I got tired of paying what I consider a high price and finally just bought the special tool: Ordered from China, costs only $26, and does the job. The tool also reads the codes and has a booklet that gives a reference to what’s wrong so you can fix it, if there is something actually wrong with the system. Now I’ve got this nifty new tool, only used once, and nothing else to do with it.

If your airbag light on a 94-03 BMW needs resetting, shoot me a PM or call and let me know when you’ll be in the area so we can meet up. No warranty/guarantees of course, but it’s a free service and you could truly get “more than you paid for”. 318threezeroeight7595.
