Same way as buying a suppressor, or SBR but pricier.

this will give you an idea of how much pricier.

This. Machine guns haven't been able to be imported or produced for civilian use since 1986. Any civilian owned machine guns were made prior to that, and can still be sold/transferred legally. So there's relatively few of them in the marketplace, hence higher prices.

Properly licensed manufacturers can still produce new machine guns (as in the video above) for the purpose of demonstration/sale to law enforcement agencies. But usually it's just because they want to play with them.

I really like the back story on where they got the design from on that bolt and how they "patented" something that was already patented.

Also its a post sample machine gun and a total gimmick. The only FA 10/22 out there is a closed bolt John Norrel trigger pack which are transferable's they usually run in the 11-14K range and are very hard to find.

Mind you none of these things run worth a crap.

    Correct on all accounts.

The two .22 MG's that I have experience with are M16's with dedicated .22 uppers and Ruger AC556's with Ceiner .22 conversion kits.

The Ruger AC556 with the Ceiner kit is a sight to behold when the kit is working correctly with fresh springs, correct magazines, and the updated ramped chamber adaptor. The heavy hammer spring allows the cyclic rate to be somewhere in the area of around 1200-1300 rounds per minute.

I love the AM180 for full auto 22. Another option that is very similar goes on a registered M16 lower that uses the same drum
