Winch for my Gator 825i

Any suggestions for a winch I can install on my JD Gator?

Primary purpose will be throwing the cable over the cab (with attachments) and winching deer into the bed.

I'm handy so I'm not to worry about installation. Just looking for a decent brand that won't break the bank.

I've had good luck with viper winches. They are priced very well and just as good as warn from my experience.

While I've had mixed luck with all things harbor freight my Kawasaki Mule I bought used came with a well worn HF wench. I've used it over a dozen times to pull myself out of some pretty heavy mud. Always works. I'd buy another if it ever broke.

+1 for viper, the one on my rzr goes under water pretty often and I've never had a problem with it.
