Didn't see this posted and just found out today from a friend. Of the four $200 Taurus pistols I currently own, 2 are on the list. I've yet to drop a pistol or ever pull a trigger without the gun pointed in a safe direction, but I'd be pissed...

Thought I'd bump this thread again just in case.

I tried all my Taurus compacts and had no issue with the gun firing (dry of course) with the safety on. I'm not gonna throw them on the floor to see if they fire, but I wouldn't expect any good to come from dropping any firearm.
So, I'll just keep my $200 taurus pistols and enjoy them as planned.
