    The raw power of lightning is amazing, as a firefighter responding to many lightning strikes and seeing the destructive damages it can do it becomes so real. Looking at the radar views where they count and plot the lightning strikes is interesting, seeing over 1500+ strikes in small areas and time frames.
    The sprites seem to be produced in some of the most intense...
    Over my lifespan (only 60) I have had several close encounters with direct strikes.
