    I want to build an SBR. I have filled out and submitted Form 1. Must I wait to purchase the parts I need and only assemble after I receive a Tax Stamp or do I need the tTax Stamp before I purchase parts?

    Not supposed to have the parts to make it into a SBR until you get your stamp. Constructive intent. But you can build a pistol for now if your doing a AR style.

    This, build a pistol variant and then purchase the parts to make it a SBR after the stamp. Easiest way to go about it IMO. Unless you are content waiting patiently for your stamp, but not all of us have that self control...
