I'm looking for a place around NOLA or anywhere in a 1hr diving distance where I can buy 25lbs+ of lead shot to add to a few Caldwell Lead sleds for sighting in rifles at my homemade range. Anyone know any places where I can buy lead shot in bulk around here?

If your just using it for a leadsled, then look up "reclaimed shot" on Google. You can get it cheaper & since your not reloading it, it won't make a difference. Do you have any weight from a set of dumb bells, they can also be used. Your just looking for weight and weight will work. Lead shot is $55/bag, it's not cheap.

Wouldn't be as heavy as lead, but if you are going to do that why not just fill it with sand in case you change your mind later?
