Field Precision Rifle February 2016 at Palo Alto

34 shooters showed to the February 2016 600Y FPR match at Palo Alto. Flags were dancing around for the start of the match, and the mirage changed directions often for the duration of the match. For those new shooters that decided to shoot their first match with us this month, you sure picked a tough one. Thanks to Rick and Glen for helping me call the line.

We had 17 shooters shooting FPR this month. Mickey Brinkman, shooting a 6X47 Lapua, took 1st place shooting a 593-32X. Jim Speaks, driving in from Mississippi, posted up an impressive score of a 590-27 X that earned him the 2nd place spot shooting his trusty 6X47 Lapua. Glen Padgett finishes 3rd with a 584-17X shooting his 6.5X47 Lapua.

11 shooters showed to shoot the match as an F Class/Prone practice match. Jim Gleason was the man to beat this month posting up a 594-31X that earned him the 1st place spot. Wes Cummings comes in with a 2nd place finish 2 points behind Jim with a 592-21X.

6 Prone shooters came out this month. Rob Westfall was a man on a mission. With a commanding score of a 594-33X, he takes the 1st place medal. Warren Freeman comes in for 2nd with a 583-22X.

Great match and hope to see everyone next month.
