For sale is a Vintage 1980's Savage Arms Model 99C "Series A" lever-action rifle chambered in .243 Winchester. The Model 99 was the first hammerless lever gun ever produced. On this model is a detachable rotary magazine, consists of a machined brass spool capable of holding 4 cartridges. Has a 22" barrel with the original rear flip-up sight and a dovetailed front sight. Walnut checkered stock, pistol grip with original buttplate.
Mounted on top is a Bushnell 3x9x32 scope. Rifle is in excellent condition, no rust or pitting.
One thing to note is someone tried to install a swivel for a sling and did it incorrectly. Also missing pistol grip cap.
I've had this rifle in my collection for over 20 years.
    Asking $350
