Forgive my ignorance here, I need some information.
It seems to me that this class offered is to receive a certificate to order a rifle.
Am I correct on this ?
Not sure I understand why if I have this correct.
Can someone explain please what exactly this is about.
    Thanks

In order to order a M1 Garand from the CMP ( Civilian Marksmanship Program) you have to get a certificate or attend a meeting. This allows you to buy from them.

When I attended this event I received paperwork to buy a Garand. It was only good for 90 days. That was a few years back.
Either way It was a great event for the dollars spent.

Thanks for the heads up on that. I'm definitely attending. I've looked onto the CMP program and this is a super easy and fun way to meet there requirements for purchasing. A friend of mine got two M1's from them last year and they're beauties. Been longing for one myself.... plus while I'm out there I can play in the new archery range!

Not sure on the archery range. When I went the range was closed except for the event. So it was show up, do the M1 Garand thing and then leave.
