State Champion in 22LR division (MS residents only)
High Lady, High Senior, High Super Senior, and High Junior in 22LR division.

    ELIGIBILITY:
The match is limited to 80 competitors.

Registration will open at 8pm on June 7th on Practiscore at the following link:

    https://practiscore.com/2016-mississippi-cqb-rifle-championship/register

    MATCH FEE: $35
Once registered and approved you will be sent squadding and payment info. You have 14 days from registering to pay or you will be removed from the match. Refunds will be given up to one week prior to the match.

    SQUAD SCHEDULE:
We will be running an AM and PM schedule.

    AM schedule shoots from 9am-12pm
    PM schedule shoots from 1pm-4pm.

Squad size will be limited to 8. More shooting and less waiting.

You are allowed to shoot twice, as long as you shoot in a different division, and you will be entered twice to win the prizes. (One entry in Rifle, one entry in 22LR)
***If you shoot twice, it must be separate schedules, AM and PM. No shooting twice in same schedule.***

    MATCH DETAILS:
The match will be 5 stages similar to our USPSA pistol stages, only we will be shooting them with rifles. Scoring will be Time Plus.

.223/5.56/.308/22LR and pistol caliber carbines welcome.

We will have two divisions, centerfire rifle and 22LR.

We recommend an AR style rifle with 30+ round magazine.

There will be no mandatory reloads, and stages will not require more than 30 rounds, so minimal gear is needed to compete.

Just show up with a rifle, a 30 or 40 round magazine, ammo, and of course eye and ear protection and you will be good to go.

Recommend 150 rounds, bring more if you plan on missing.

Chamber flags required, we will have some on hand if you need one.

    See you at the match!

I see that the State Championship is obviously open to MS residents only. Can LA residents compete in the match?

Absolutely. I think half the shooters at our last match were from AL or LA, with the best ones coming from LA.

LA shooters won everything except the random draw, which was an AL shooter, and MS guys got to setup the stages lol.

LOL. I promise to help with setup and you probably don't need to worry about me taking any prizes!!

No worries we'll have it setup and ready to go, and prizes are random, so your chance is just as good as anybody!

Does one registration cover both divisions, or is a separate registration requires for each?

Sent from my MotoE2(4G-LTE) using Tapatalk

Seperate registration required for each, and must shoot seperate schedules. For example 223 rifle in AM, 22LR rifle in PM.

Take I-10 to Biloxi, exit 46 north for 8-9 miles on hwy 67 then right on gun range lane at the signs for the range.

Max target distance will be about 20-25 yards. Will post stages over the weekend.

If shooting the PM schedule, what time do we need to be there to sign in?

The plan is PM shooter meeting at 12:45pm, shooting starts at 1pm.

If you're all paid up and registration info is correct no need to sign in.

I'll be sending out an email early next week with all the match info/stages, etc.
