I am having an issue with address verification and have had no help from ATT from the admin side. They push all possible answers away blaming engineering department and I was told there is no way possible to contact that department.

I just need to know if my new construction home in a not so new subdivision has the potential for Uverse. The hardware is sticking up from the ground with a warning that FO and or copper is buried.

Any engineers for ATT that run cable or install Uverse on Northshore that can help me truly know if I can get some type of hard line internet and not rely on satellite?!?!?!?

I had that same issue with Charter when I built my house. Seeing as your line is buried it will be harder but ask around in the subdivision and see who has what if someone else has it then you can tell them it is in your neighborhood and the heck with addresses.

When I had the issue with Charter I was able to follow the cable to my house then I went through multiple people coming out and saying we had it and then when I called they said we didn't and couldn't install it. then I finally got a installer out here and he said they needed a tap on the main trunk and it would take a few weeks to get it done. I called them after a few weeks had gone by with no tap installed and they said sorry we don't service that address. Told them a guy was just here and said all I needed was a tap. Finally called so much I got routed to a help desk with only supervisors that answered and she sent out an email blast and I got a call from the Western Louisiana Operations manager who happened to live down the road from me. After that it was resolved.

My takeaway is keep calling them and keep a record of who you talk to and any and all information they give to you this way you have it documented. If they ask for you phone number for the automated system keep entering the same number as that is what triggered my call escalation the computer recognized how many times I had called them. Be polite but firm and if you are getting no where with whoever is on the phone ask for a manager. If that doesn't work ask for their manager. Also keep calling an bugging them.

I used to work for att doing Uverse. The best way to see if its there, is just to type in a couple of your neighbors addresses. Since ATT bought Directv, they are trying to Phase out the Uverse tv and push people to switch to directv to free up bandwidth for Internet. They actually have a form somewhere on the address search to validate your address, and I think they have places to put in neighbors address to so that they can qualify your address.

Keep calling and documenting who you speak to in order to have service? Unless there're no other options that doesnt sound like someone who wants my business. How much trouble will you have to go through if you have a problem?

If you don't actually have a VRAD/DSLAM cabinet on a pedestal, you don't have U-verse. The small fence post size box sticking out of the ground is neither, just a fusion point. Very few U-verse customers actually have Fiber-to-the-Premises (which isn't very fast) and ATT doesn't like doing new hookups for FTTP. The VRAD can be about 3000' copper-wise from your house, although closer is better and determines your available speeds.

It's not U-Verse, but I'm using AT&T FTTP 50Mbps asymmetrical right now, and we are getting ready to upgrade to 100Mbps asymmetrical. We looked into 1Gbps, but it wasn't justifiable.
It spoils you to have this when at work but not at home.

You're a commercial customer though lol, not a U-verse residential. You probably have 3 active singlemodes pulled in (U-verse FTTP is passive).

Here's my work, testing from my iPhone on wifi:
