On behalf of BayouShooter and it's staff, I would like to wish all of the fathers out there a very happy Father's Day weekend. I hope you all have a ton of fun and spend some great quality time with your family and loved ones.

Also, just to have a little fun, I know many of you will be cooking some delicious food this weekend - if you want to post pictures (and recipes to share :)) of whatever cool meals you make this weekend, you will be entered in to win a 3 month Gold Membership on the forum. I will pick 3 to 5 winners depending on how many submit pictures. Extra points for those who find ways to incorporate pictures of their cool man-toys into the pictures! Please post the pictures in this thread or link to a thread in the cooking section and respond here.

Disclaimer: Winners will be picked by me and will be completely subjective. Prize has no monetary value and cannot be traded. Submissions accepted until Wednesday the 22nd.

All from scratch, meatloaf, beer cheese mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. Myself, my wife, and our 5-year-old have been on it for about three hours while I danced with my daughter while we cooked, a very good night.

I went fishing Friday, Saturday, and today. Friday had two kids with me; not easy paddling with 3 people in the boat, but well worth it.
Came back with enough to eat and some for the freezer. Fried of course, and tried baking sac-a-lait with skin on for the first time, came out great. Sac-a-lait, perch, catfish and gar. (Note, pictures gratuitously include man toys as per instructions)

Took a bunch of Redds to clean all the fish.

Had family over today and cooked one of my dad's favorites. First time I have boiled lobsters like crawfish, and they were fantastic.

I just sat down with a beer, and assembled a new lower. Spikes stripped lower, Spikes LPK, Tactical Dynamics billet grip and Magpul stock. Now just waiting for my second HardenedArms upper to come in. Other than that. Typical day at home. Laundry and house chores.

No man toys in pic as I was lucky to get a pic before I inhaled these rascals!!!

Tried to get a little fishing in today as well, but the Sabine Lake is still absorbing a lot of fresh water from upstream and I didn't want to go to the South end of the lake!!

So only caught some undersized rat reds that got turned loose....save em for another day!!

Well, I would have submitted a picture of what I cooked but the wife and daughter took over cooking duties yesterday. All I got to do was warm the bread so in a way I guess I was a winner. Lol.......
