I have a Norinco NHM 90 AK-47 for sale. Very Rare! Selling for much more.
The rifle was originally an underfolder before the ban and was placed into the warehouse and made into a postban rifle by shaving the bayonet lug off, putting a thumb hole stock on, and the cuts for the underfolder have sheet metal over them. The rifle can easily be converted to its original configuration as an underfolder rifle. It has a 1.6 mm receiver and heavier threaded barrel.
As I understand it....these were model 56s rifles that were caught in transit during the 1989 Bush assault weapons ban, and we're modified accordingly for legal importation (had their evil bayonet lugs neutered, among others). The '56s' was ground off (you can see where it was), and replaced with a 'NHM-90' stamp. These were precursors to the MAK-90, and were also imported prior to Clinton's 1994 Chinese assault weapons ban.
The rifle is NIB, not fired, with paperwork. Just selling because I have others and I bought another house.
