Looking for trigger, lighter mainspring, things like that. Looking around Batonrouge

A minus connector and a 5# firing pin spring will reduce the trigger pull weight of the early G42/G43 pistols to a reasonable weight. The newer G42/G43 pistols come with a trigger pull comparable to a new 9mm/40 Glock pistol. What do you want to achieve?

Trying to lighten up trigger and slide. She is having a hard time racking the slide.

A modified technique to rack the slide works for many. Hold the slide with your non dominant hand closely in front of your chest and push the pistol with your dominant hand. If you are on a range with others you will have to angle your body rather than sweep someone with the muzzle.

Yes, that's how she does it now. It works but I don't like it. We all run lighter springs in our race guns so why can't I change her main spring? I don't see any long term I'll effects. Just looking local so I can kinda try before I buy.

Galloway Precision has an Edge connector and a RSA that is reduced by 10% which should work well with a 5# firing pin spring.

Good luck finding anything local for a 42/43 that's going to help. your best bet is going to be online.
Going to post what I had in your other post asking the same questions.

1st. Its hard for her to rack the slide. She doesn't have the grip strength to squeeze the slide and pull it back. Isn't there something that can be mounted on the rear of the slide? Ive seen competition glocks with huge cocking handles i guess i would call it. I don't want anything big though. Whats my choices?

2nd. I was looking at a larger slide release and mag release. Pros? cons? Im just trying to make it easier for her with her small fingers lol

3rd. Would a lighter spring help her rack the slide?

I wouldn't go with a lighter recoils spring, you may have trouble cycling ammo.
You can always get a connector to help with trigger pull and also polish all the trigger parts for a smoother and cleaner pull.

4th. Whats a decent drop in trigger to make the trigger pull a little lighter and smoother?

Also maybe work on grip strength itself.
After I had a couple plates put in my arm and wrist, I had issues with regaining grip strengh. physical theapry helped alot and working with tools like this helps tremendously
