I have a 1898 Krag that's in ok condition, I say ok relative to what I would call a garand or Springfield but since this is 50 years before that I guess it's better than ok. Bluing is around 70%. The bore is dark but that's expected with age and use of corrosive ammo. It shot ok with 180 gr ammo that was given to me with the rifle. I haven't shot it other than the 20 rounds of factory ammo that was given to me.
