I had several scopes go under water in the recent flood. Thankfully none had any water intrusion and appear to be fine. In the process of cleaning all of them i sorayed everything down in oil and of course the glass on the scopes got it to. Im looking for the best route to clean the glass. I recall watching A nightforce? Video once where it was recomended to use virgin alcohol and lots of coton balls. Is this the best route. They are all leupold scopes and 1 nikon.
    Thanks

I keep a Leupold lens pen in my hunting bag for cleaning in the field. It has a retractable brush on one end and a microfiber cleaning tip on the other. I believe there are identical pens branded Nikon and possibly others. It seems like I picked it up for about 5$ a couple years ago.
