Looking for input from anyone with experience in selling a house that has flooded recently.

I have a rental property that I need to get rid of after we pay off what we can from insurance. Just want to break even and walk away.

What is the best route right now - sell to a contractor for cheap or try to sell to a individual?

In my experience, you will always get more from an individual but it will likely take longer than selling to a contractor.
Most important thing to consider is how fast you need to have it gone.
Hope you the best with the sale.

I agree with this! The contractor will be wanting to maximize profit but is willing to jump on it earlier than an individual and usually has the money available sooner to complete the purchase. Good luck with the sell!

I think I found a pretty good deal with a contractor. Much better than I was expecting. Thanks for the input.

There are plenty of investors buying up houses right now. PM me if you want more info.
