Starting to notice the ammo shelves at big box stores thinning out. I'm gonna say that by the end of the day on Nov 12th most stores will be sold out of common ammo.

Yeah I noticed that too. I have two new chamberings that I need to stock. 6.5G and 300blk ordering is the way to go. Prices haven't skyrocketed yet but the 300blk seems to be ticking up ever so slightly.

The local places still have .223/5.56 and 9mm. However, I've noticed certain brands disappearing.

I'll buy another case of 9mm and 556 when I need it, I don't stock up on ammo. I've been through a flood once, and if I can't easily take it with me, then I don't need it.

Walmart in harvey is stocked to the gills with all calibers as of yesterday. Gretna Academy had pretty much everything too.

Depending on election outcome of course. I'm actually pretty hopeful, but ordered another 1500 rounds today just in case...

Academy in covington was out of 223 and 9mm yesterday.

Maybe out of 55gr, but I was just in there looking at Hornady .223 75gr MATCH ammo and saw plenty of American Eagle 62gr & various .223 loads. They also had plenty of 9mm, but no CCI Blazer 9mm.

I want to add the stores I'm going to are not out but are thinning out. When everyone wakes up Wednesday to find HC won they will be going crazy to get Friday's pay check and hit the ammo shelves lol. I'm wondering how long before we see those ammo limit signs? Oh wife and hubby checking out separate with ammo was the best!

I have quite a few pmags that I paid high prices for during the last scare. I have been patiently holding onto them until the next scare so I can get my money back out of them.

I figured there would be price increases happening around the election, and if Hillary wins it will continue well after the election. I placed my last order for some ammo a couple weeks ago, so no plans to buy more for awhile. Also have my reloading equipment ready to go when I can find some time to get that started.

Make sure you have some primers and powder set aside.

If you're interested, Academy seems to have the best prices for the Remington 120gr OTM Blackout at 15.99. The 220gr is on sale for, I think, 16.99. I can't find the 120gr cheaper anywhere, online or otherwise.

Any experience with either round? I am looking for two rounds (well maybe three or four). Subsonic range fodder, and high explanation subs (like Lehigh). $0.75 per round is a little high for range fodder but it is what it is. Sellar Bellots seem to be a bout $0.50 but the couple places online I have looked are sold out. Haven't seen the Lehighs for sell either.
