Picked up a 10/22 takedown lite a few months ago, and finally took it to the range on Saturday to sight it in.

I put about 200 round through it, but could not go more than 5-6 rounds without a stovepipe or failure to load the next round.

Problems were the same using both the 10 round factory and bx25 magazines and 2 different types of ammo.

I have never had an issue with any 10/22 cycling reliably. Anyone else have any issues like this? Any ideas on how to remedy, other than try more ammo, which I will do the next time I go to the range.

Yup, send it back is my vote.

Never had any issues with my takedown whatsoever, but then again, it is a standard model.
Although I like the Lite version, there is no place in my safe for a rifle without iron sights.
