I remember a couple years ago I found a company that would do a full length barrel insert. It was a 38special insert for a 410. Anyone have any experience with this?
Conversions from 12 ga. to 20, 28, and .410 have been around for many years. Commonly referred to as sub-gauge tubes, the most popular ones are made by Briley and Kolar Arms.
Revolvers chambered for .410 shotgun shells can also fire 45 Long Colt ammo, but I'm not aware of way to convert .410 to 38 Special.
I've seen the short inserts. 6 inches to 8 inches long. I found a smith that will rebarrel my 410 to 357 mag. Full length rifled barrel insert. So now I'm wondering how accurate a 357 will be in a 28 inch rifled barrel. Gonna be a fun project. And for 250 bucks including scope mount, why not.
