Knife Laws involving minors.

Louisiana knife laws are fairly simple, but I'm having having a difficult time clarifying them in relation to minors. Is my 14 year old able to sell or gift a knife to one of his friends of the same age?

Yes.

So long as the knife is not a "switchblade." Those fun toys are illegal for civilians to own in LA.

Couldn't you just handle the transaction if you're worried about it? Sell/give it to the kid... or his dad and let him give it to him?
