    Mickey,

Will F-Class and or Highpower Prone shooters be allowed to shoot a practice match? I am trying to juggle my weekend to allow me to shoot.

    Yes.
    Still $20 for match fees
F open and ftr are grouped together as one class.
Prone class will be awarded if we have enough shooters. If not I group them with the f class guys

Field Precision January 14, 2017 at Palo Alto

29 shooters showed to kick off the 2017 FPR season at Palo Alto. We had the worst fog delay I have seen in the 6 years I have been shooting at the range. 25 shooters stayed until the fog lifted at 1145 so start the match. Thanks to Glen Padgett, Jerry Boudreaux, and Randal Lamotte for helping me call the line. You guys kept the match rolling when I got called into work and had to pull out of the match.

We had 13 shooters shooting FPR this month. Tom Neely scored a 594-26X that earned him 1st place medal. Craig Martin earned the 2nd place finish shooting a 591-26X.

5 shooters showed to shoot the match as an F Class match. Shawn Broussard wins the 1st place medal this month only dropping 2 points for the day with a 598-44X. Rick Smith was not far behind finishing with a 595-30X than earned him 2nd place.
7 Prone shooters showed to shoot the match as a Prone Practice match. Warren Freeman shot an impressive 594-22X that took the first place medal. Sam Entrican pounded out 590-27X for 2nd place.

On another other note, I am pleased to say that Glen Padgett has accepted the responsibility to help me out as assistant match director for 2017. He had played a key roll in helping me run these matches in the past year and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the help.
Hope everyone enjoyed themselves and thank you for a safe match.
