    There was this one time with a girlfriend and this weak legged table...they say you can't break it, but it sure felt broke to me. Just hang in there tiger. It'll heal in good time.

    level the tip with 1000 grit, rough the last 1/2 inch 360 degrees. Rod tip repair kit academy comes with glue and the tips, pick closest fit glue, align done. Changes action a bit but still works.

    Good advise. The rod tip repair kits are the most practical way to repair. Available at Academy and Walmart.

    I've built a few rods. It's an easy fix.
    If it's a cheap rod, a rod repair kit is more than good enough. If it's a good rod and one you want to keep for years to come, it would be much better to order the right parts from MudHole

    A good sporting good store will have the tips as well. The one in Morgan City does, don't know any in Mandeville

    De-oil the rod tip and epoxy or JB Weld the tip on.
