Hey y'all I'm currently a paramedic in New Orleans. Been down in the city about 3 years before moving from my hometown of Reno, NV. Looking for similar free outdoor range spots as I was accustomed to growing up going anywhere in the near by desert of Nevada. I figure y'all would know the best, safest & legal places for some free outdoor skeet and target practice down here close to New Orleans. Thanks !

Welcome to the forum. There's no where in the New Orleans area to shoot for free legally that I know of. Back in the day, one could go to the spillway out in Norco and find a place away from everyone and target shoot. Can't do much of anything out there now without regulation. Definitely no target shooting there.
