    Isn't the new P226 heavier than the old German models? I have a circa 1984 P226, and I can not bring myself to part with that baby.

    ETA: Does your old one look like this?

    Yes, it's heavier for sure. Some people like the new railed versions and some like the old ones. I much prefer the older non railed as you have.
