I went over to EBR and dropped off the two copies of my form 4 at EBR SO two weeks ago today. I went in a LEO uniform and spoke to his secretary who took my paperwork, a copy of my license, and my phone number. So far I've heard nothing back. How many weeks would you guys give before you checked in? I have no idea what the average time is for this parish.

    Thanks.

FYI, it took about 6 weeks. A friend of mine dropped his off and got the signature at the same time as me and he only waited two weeks. So it seems that they are done in batches.

That's nuts. My longest wait with Sherriff Litchfield was about two hours. Mostly it was more like two minutes.

Got a MP40 coming in that I'll need to get a signoff for though. Guess I'll wait.

They are NOT talking about a Louisiana Concealed Handgun Permit. The Sherrif has nothing to do with that.
