Is that one with the Axis locker? I watched the video they did with hydraulic ram and they were breaking the knifes before the lock. I really want to get one with that axis flipper technology or however its worded.

That knife is called the Griptilian, made by Benchmade. Most of Benchmade's knives use their proprietary Axis Lock. I carry a Griptilian daily. The Axis Lock is one of the strongest locks, next to the Tri-Ad lock by Andrew Demko & Cold Steel. Benchmade only makes one flipper knife that has the Axis Lock, and it's called the Benchmade 300:

Picked up two Emerson's this weekend. Still waiting on my CQC-8, but the Horseman arrived yesterday. Both are users, but if I told you what I paid for both, you'd have a heart attack.

Yup.... Ebony is a surprisingly stout wood too. There are some 100 year old knives out there with whittle away blades and great looking ebony handles.

No, the ultra tech is not legal to own or carry in Louisiana unless you are LE, fire or ems. Frankly, it's not stout enough to function for those uses anyway. And the law is stupid but that's a whole other discussion.

I know. I really want one of those old school Schrade Autos that were made by GEC on their 73 pattern. Can't have one here though.
