High Standard Sentinel MK IV .22 Magnum - Value?

This weekend I got this revolver. My mom bought it in the late 70s or early 80s. From the serial number I was able to determine it was manufactured in 1975 or 1976. It's nickle with walnut grips (I believe). I know it's not worth much and I don't plan on selling it but I would like to get an idea of what it's worth.

    Thanks,
    Zach

That old thing? It came out of a cracker jack box and will only depreciate the value of the rest of your collection! Just hand it over now and maintain your integrity.

I'll take my chances. This old thing hadn't been shot or cleaned in 30 years until this weekend. It's a pretty good shooter and cleans up real nice.

If you do decide to sell it, pm me. I've been looking for something like it.

Can't find the value, but I wouldn't sell it if I were you.

Did find this article: http://www.notpurfect.com/main/sentinel.html and this auction (where a blued version went for $530 a couple weeks ago): http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=219122123.

Very nice 22 magnum IMO. I bet you could find a buyer for it in a New York sec.

    I like it.

Thanks for the replies. Like I said I'm not planning on selling this one. It's been in the family longer than I have.

    Renegade, thanks for the links.
