WELL, after waiting around 5 months (1/30/11-6/18/11) for my $115 Raven Concealment holster to come in it was here this past Saturday. Boy was this guy excited. I get back to scope it out on sunday after a night of drinking with my buddy in BR and come to find out when I tried to install the IWB C-Clips that they shipped with it were made OUT OF SPEC! WTF! 5 ******* months and $115 for that!? needless to say i called them on Monday.

This is the email that I sent to both gearinfo@ravenconcealment.com and to their "contact us" section:

"I received my new phantom holster for a G26/27 with MD cut in the mail on Saturday, June 18th. I was disappointed to find that the IWB C-Clips that I ordered were not made to specifications. I spoke with the Director of Sales and he instructed me to email pictures of the issue that I have. The issue is that the holes on the IWB C-Clips that I ordered for my holster do not line up. I was very disappointed after a payment of about $115 and waiting almost 5 months. The man that I spoke with on the phone said that I could be sent a pair of the extension wings(so the length of the IWB clips do not impede the possibility of withdrawing my firearm from the holster) and new IWB C-Clips that are made to specifications. I have heard nothing but positive information about the customer service department at Raven Concealment and I only expect the best. I will attach the requested photos of the issue.

    Thank you,
    R*** *******
    Order # 15***"

What a piece of ..., thats what happens when a company gets too big and they refuse to hire more techs to handle the load. Poor QC and LONG turn around time.

UPDATE: Just called, Tom said " I'm going through emails asap and I get about 300 per day." I should expect a response today sometime.... It sounds like they really need to expand their workforce or their facility in some way or another in order to be more efficient. Ordinarily, I wouldn't be this impatient but I am especially since I've already waited 5 months for something that i cannot use for its complete intended purpose upon arrival. I hope its worth it when I/ if i do get the damn thing set up correctly.

That's sad to see. Especially after the jerkoff who owns Raven came into a thread on arfcom and bad mouthed every other maker. That RC was superior in every possible and other maker's products will break because they are inferior.

    UPDATE: emailed me back.

    Hi R,

I see the issue. Since you have a subcompact holster, we actually delete the last rivet that is found on most of our gear (four holes on your holster vs five on most). The Tuckable items are designed to used holes 4 and 5, and since yours is missing 5, they don't mount perfectly. They will work with only one screw through hole 4, if you wish to try that.

The offset wings mount to holes 3 and 4, which your holster does have. I will have a set of those and the necessary hardware sent your way ASAP.

    Regards,

    Tom

welp lets see how this goes. ill repost again when i get more info.

I have a couple of their holsters. I like them and they work fine for me.

I purchased these holsters back in 08, before they became really popular.

To date, I still don't know of any other company that makes a concealable OWB holster for a PX4 with a TLR 1 attached to it.

well my expansion wings rivet holes ripped after about a year and some change after carrying everyday with this set up. i ordered some new wings and i am currently installing them. If you get a raven IWB set up like this, order an extra set of expansion wings, its worth $70

    Update...

I also cut of the last rivet hole and sanded and smoothed on the bottom of the C clip mounts so there would be less stress on the wings. it also feels more comfortable now(why didnt i do this a year ago?!)
