Ok, so what is the thingy that holds the 5 rounds for my carcano? It goes in the gun, holds 5 bullets and falls out when it empties. That is the only "clip" I have, butisnt it almost technically a magazine?

Clips load magazines.

If a clip feeds the gun then the magazine is built internally into the gun.

I think this one is under exaggerated, some people have way less rounds and way more faith.
