That sucks. Definitely need to be more aware of someone running up behind you even though there probably wasn't anything she could have done. By the way I doubt the guy asked her for money and then knocked her out without stealing her purse.

I hope that poor girl makes a full recovery and doesnt have any long term damage. That was a nasty hit, and then she smacked the sidewalk pretty good, too.
