From what I saw on GB the Colt 1911 Government Models are going from 700 to 1300. I guess it just depends on the actual shape and finding a buyer for your asking price.
What are you looking to get for it?

See if you can still get a 'Factory letter' from colt...

That'll add to the price and is interesting.

He's right about the 1911... For the Single action... need more info and the letter would help (Telling if it's original etc)

Can someone tell me what all the dates mean on the 1911 ?

I'll try and contact Colt Monday about both.

Guess I'll have to also register at 1911forum.com (Another Website to keep up with) :eek3:

That 1911 needs a beavertail, some checkering and Bomar sights. Maybe finish it off with some Duracoat. :o

If someone did that to an original 1911 (I can't see all the parts, but the trigger and safety are correct) I would beat them in the face with it.

$900 is acceptable from the condition of the one side I can see for a 1915...

Would need to look up details of the SAA to see if it's correct, gen, etc, but due to condition, I wouldn't give more than for the 1911...
