Last weekend I was looking at all the sales on AR parts and found that Tennessee Arms had their Hybrid Polymer Receiver 3-Pack w/ Free Shipping for $100.20.
What the hell, it's only money so, I ordered two Gray and one FDE.
I ordered them on 25th and they arrived yesterday. Three days, that was quick for free shipping.

A few months back I had ordered a PSA 16" Stainless Mid-length 1/7 Freedom Rifle Kit for $369.99 and was planing to dress it in Magpul Gray.

I did a favor for a friend and in turn he got me the gray Magpul +2 grip, MOE handguard and rear sight. I need to do more favors for him. Just need to order the butt stock now.
So after having breakfast this morining I started on the build. I did swich out the PSA LPK with an Anderson LPK with a stainless hammer and trigger that I got from Fat Boy Tactical for $38.99.

This was my first synthetic lower build and it went pretty smooth.
The upper to lower fit is pretty tight with no play.
Now I have to find the time to make it to the range.

Well I finally got around to ordering the gray MOE buttstock. It looks much better now.
Haven't been to the range yet but did take it to work and fired a few rounds into a bullet trap to make sure that it fuctioned properly.

Nice budget build! I prefer the forged lowers, but that is a very good deal for those three lowers. Never hurts to have a couple extra lowers in the safe for a rainy day :ninja:

I got the handguard, grip and rear sight as a gift from a friend.
I think I got the butt stock from Fat Boy Tactical.

Yes it does help to have a few extra lowers on hand, I think I have ten extra right now.
Here is the next build with the FDE lower.

Teeneensse Arms FDE lower = $38
    Anderson stripped upper = $40
    Anderson LPK = $40
    Del Ton lightweight barrel 1/9 = $150
Nitride Black Gas Tube = $15
Magpul FDE MOE LS Handguard = $33
MOE FDE Butt Stock = FREE
Buffer tube in the white = $7
Yankee Hill Flash Hider = $20
    Magpul FDE Mag = $8.40
I have a few more parts on the way.
And I have to get the upper and buffer tube out to be coated.

I'd be really interested on how the builds fare after some solid use. I've seen two polymer lowers end up with ovaled buffer retaining pin holes that ended up causing malfunctions after a couple thousand rounds.

All right, you sold me on the TA lowers!
I ordered a black lower for my husband to build himself range toy - a dedicated .22, with a Spike's tactical .22 upper.
But they won't have them to ship until Sept. 8. :(

The gun has just over 300 rounds through it now.
The only problem was the hand guard. When pushing it hard, two 30 round mags, it gets a little hot at the bottom of the hand guard.
Other then that the gun runs great.
My friend a work fell in love with it so, it has a new home. I have the parts coming in to build the gray lower the same way.
